El Paso times interviews my soon to be famous brother-in-law Capt. Frederic Doss:
Working 16-hour days for a month-and-a-half doesn’t sound like much fun.
But Air Force Capt. Frederic Doss didn’t seem to mind.
In addition to his regular duties with the Air Force, Doss helped coordinate the work between the Air Force and Dreamworks Pictures while the company filmed scenes for the “Transformers” movie at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo.
“I had to make sure we could provide them support at no cost to the Air Force which would mean at no cost to taxpayers,” said Doss, who worked to coordinate planning for the shoot for when Dreamworks needed such things as vehicles and personnel for extras or help with the sets. “I ended up doubling up on my work.”
Doss also had a speaking part in the film.
“I used to be an actor in college at Missouri Southern State University so I read for a speaking part in the movie and got it,” he said. “I got to do five or six lines opposite Glenn Morshower, who played agent Pierce on ’24.’ I had a blast the whole time.”
