The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe coming to the big screen in December 2005! Awesome!

A glimpse through the Wardrobe (25meg Quicktime file) at WETA Digital’s amazing work on The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Seems another one of my childhood favorites is being brought to life by those Kiwi wizards. The minotaurs look simply amazing!

Classic Games

I’ve been reading Masters of Doom by David Kushner. It’s the true story of how John Carmack and John Romero created Doom and the rise of Id software. It explains where Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and Quake got their roots. Awesome book.

This book got me thinking about all the games that I played years ago on my screaming 386. Great classics like, Quest for Glory, Space Quest, Police Quest, King’s Quest, and many others. Amazingly enough, you can download these classic games and more at abandonia.com.
